Should I drop out of college?

Drop out.

Just make sure you practice the following phrases:

1. Would you like fries with that?

2. Do you have a rewards card?

3. Would you like to sign up for our rewards program?

If you work really hard you might get to use these:

1. The schedule is already set. You'll have to find someone who isn't going to the prom to swap with you.

2. I cant give everyone Christmas day off.

3. Corporate doesn't allow me to pay more than minimum wage for your position.

Stay in school and finish a degree, any degree.

Give up now and it's going to be a tough road ahead of you with more people making decisions for your life than you would ever imagine. A degree helps you to decide your worth. No degree means that someone else will do it for you.

this idea of getting "any degree" is kind of funny to me.. I have so many friends with a poo job, taking orders, and barely bringing home money because they went out and "got any degree"..

unless you were born to be an order taker, the corporate rug in which your boss wipes his shoes, then yeah, any degree will do..

it's a tough road regardless.. especially if you align yourself to be expendable in the corporate world and the economy goes to poo.. you then have it worse than many other people...

Hey man I feel for you. I'm just now in the last couple months of my senior year at a fairly prestigious University in the Northeast and let me tell you... there were times when I wanted to quit and the stress was wearing my down almost daily. I declared my major in Political Science the last week of my sophomore year and am so glad to have made the right choice. The professors here have really opened my eyes to a lot of things and I am now in the process of applying to six graduate schools for Homeland Security or International Relations. I've always wanted to serve my country and this way I can use my education and analytical skills to make a difference and aid the federal government and military with intelligence.

Talk to your advisor at school. Weigh ALL of your options. I wish you the best, I would not rule out transferring schools either, maybe the programs at your current college just aren't for you and there are some out there that are suitable, I can promise that.

If you guys are having trouble dealing with the "stress of school", you are in for a RUDE AWAKENING in the real world.

College is not even close to the stress in the real world. You go to class for about 4 hours a day. Try working for 12 hours....then coming home and having to deal with sick kids....a mortgage...car payments...yard work...etc.

College is by far the most relaxing and enjoyable time that you will have until you retire.

Did you go to an Ivy League school?

Whether you slack off in school, slack off in the military, or slack off selling drugs...

you aren't going to get anywhere until you change your attitude

You started college.

Finish it. Strong.

You'll be out, and at that point, you can take a look at the job market and see if something works for you.

If not, you could consider the military, perhaps be an officer (the dreaded O), and develop some leadership skills and a bit more of the discipline you clearly need.

retry the job market

No matter what you do, it isn't so much about what you do, but how you apply yourself to the task that determines your success and overall happiness.

My old man used to laugh at people that needed to go somewhere and "find themselves".

He used to say "fug that son, if you need to find yourself, go look in the mirror and ask yourself if you can face that person if you quit."

two cents, worth what you paid for it.

    • I get it's subjective and I said "PFF rated him as" one of the top deep ball passers during that time, which is an accurate statement.  They are still a group of professionals that look at film and data in order to make their judgements/ratings.  These people whose data has been incorporated into a lot of teams' staffs view Bryce's deep throws as some of the best in the league during that stretch.  That tells me that he can probably throw a deep pass vs the Huddle's version of he is small and didn't do it his rookie year so he must not be able to.  That and literally seeing him do it just makes me feel he is more than capable of doing so.   Do you think PFF is skewing their opinion to prop up a QB in a bottom tier franchise?  It's just another group's opinion and I feel is pretty respected around the league currently.  It's not the gospel truth or anything.
    • I still remember how happy I was that gettlegut was not the GM once he picked Jones, that was a firing pick and well..... If not for the raiders drafting Clelin Ferrell, it was the biggest draft day mistake in the last 20 some years.
    • He had 251 passing yards. 3 passing touchdowns and 2 rushing touchdowns. All in all a very impressive game. Problem is I do not envision his rushing ability translating like that over the course of the upcoming season. Yeah it will be something to account for from time to time but one it's not sustainable and two you don't want to put his durability to the ultimate test against a motivated defender willing to take a penalty and a fine. And plus with our backfield. Two 1k yard rushers. That's what they're here for. Then we have a much improved WR room. That means Bryce has to elevate those passing numbers substantially. The fact of the matter is regardless of circumstances it did take him 23 games to surpass Kyle Allen's single season passing yardage from 13 games in 2020. And that is not a high bar by any means. Whatever QB tier Bryce ends up in from here amongst his peers this upcoming season when it's all said and done it will be with his arm.
