Panther Nation....

Watch this video about Kony 2012 and lets do something about it. I know the video is long, but take 30 mins out of your busy schedules and help out this cause. I know this isn't Panthers related and not even football related, but just wanna help this cause out any way that I can. Please after you watch this, help spread the word any way that you can. Put it on your twitter, facebook, myspace, other forums, etc.

April 20

Thanks everyone...

Give at least a 2-sentence summary of the damn thing and I might actually give a fug.

The funds that go to that movement go to the Ugandan military.

Which in turns funds an eerily similar group known as the People's Liberation Army of Sudan (which in turn causes Sudan to fund the LRA out of spite.)

Don't have a problem with the movement. Just be wary of where you donate your money. A corrupt African nation isn't really the wisest use of the donations you wish to make.

KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.

    • Why would we not be contenders? As long as Bryce plays like he did when he came back, we absolutely can be contenders...that is...   if the defense plays better... which is why adding someone like Ramsey when we have a QB on a rookie deal and can afford it makes sense IMO. No one thought of the Commanders being contenders last year or the Texans the year before and so on and so forth. Top-end QB play, especially for a guy on a rookie deal, changes everything in terms of timelines. Regardless of what this board thinks, I hope the front office is willing to he aggressive in thks window we currently have with a rookie QB deal
    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
