they were talking about this a few minutes ago on ESPN2. They were saying D'Antoni's system isn't capable of winning a championship. That's why Steve Kerr let him go in PHX

They guessed he would be fired within a week

Hmmm.. is it ironic that last night/this morning reports surfaced about Melo saying that it was either him ir D'Antoni? (I Know he denied the rumors) Can not help but belive this is a direct result of Melo's actions and wishes.

I think it's funny how he seems to be the one getting the blame. I know he isn't the best coach when it comes to dealing with all the players but he isn't the sole reason they are performing worse than they should.

Would Mike Woodson take over? He is a defensive coach but is mainly dealing with offensive weapons. I think I have heard Sloan's name as well.

I would love to see this!!! I have always though Jackson was over rated as he always won with 2 all stars on his teams (including 2 of the greatest of all time)... But if he comes an wins with a struggling knicks franchise... I will finally respect him as the greatest coach of all time.

People learned how to play him. Great players are great because people know exactly how to guard them but simply can't.

Yea, Woodson is going to take over. I agree with them that his system is flawed. It worked with guys like Nash and Stoudemire but how many of those are there?

Well Lin plays a lot like Nash it's just that Melo holds everything up. It's not as free flowing when he plays. Nothing against him as a player, but he was the one that didn't fit.

They don't mesh particularly well but Lin isn't even a feint shadow of Nash. He dribbles up into the lane and desparately throws it out somewhere or throws up a garbage attempt. Now that teams know his spots he can't find his open windows.

I just realized that's exactly what Nash does too. He's really good at it though
