You think prospective teams, including us, want Shockey getting in to public arguments questioning his character. Toomer started it, and showed his douchebaggery, but Jeremy should have recanted and let it be.

Its not a huge deal, and like I said I still want him back, but there were smarter responses than firing back and calling him out.

meh...teams that would be interested in shockey know that he's not someone that backs down. this wouldn't change anything about their perspective. they could also see that toomer was the one that started this whole thing. i can promise you that they wouldn't hold this little spat against him.

Carolina brought him in last year....knowing he had a history of being a bit of a prick and that he doesn't always getting along w/ everyone. The coversation between those two makes sense...Shockey wasn't exactly a NYG favorite when he parted with them (everyone knows that).
