D-Will or Stewart trade?

Pretty simple, he deserves to be the feature back and cannot get that money here as we are out of cash. Do not blame him, he deserves to be the man somewhere

I get that people get nervous about losing Stew. Or DWill for that matter. Guys and gals, just relax and take a deep breath. The only way Stew leaves is if it is his decision. If he wants to stay, he will get a contract he deserves. And please quit saying he won't get DWill money. He will be getting DWill money.

Of course Stew deserves to be a feature back. The problem comes when fans think HE feels that way. From what I know. He has never said he wants to be a feature back. On the contrary, I am quite certain that he relishes in the fact that having DWill as a running mate will extend his career. And by extension, in the long run, earn him more money. And he does not have to get beat to hell to earn it.

The cap is going up big time in 14. That will allow us to do some things next year. Resign Smitty and Stew will be top of the list. And both will be taken care of, as expected. We are on the verge of something special. We know it, and the Panthers know it.

It is entertaining with all the Chicken Littles around here. Let's jump to worse case scenario first. Overreact. Then accept what you cannot change.

If you really think the Panthers will not give Stew the contract he deserves, you need to reevaluate how you look at the Organization as a whole. To a fault we take care of our own. And with the cap soaring in 14, we should be sitting pretty. ENJOY, it really is painless.

And GOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!

One guy is disgruntled and the other has a DUI

Stewart is neither of those and is bigger like Fox is wanting. Just sayin..

True, but no one is going to give up a first rounder for a RB when they can just use the pick on one and save big money. RBs are easy to find.

maybe right after the rule change people would have done it....now that the league has legitimately changed RBs don't have the value. name the last trade or big signing involving a RB

Might be a second rounder, but still, we have no third rounder and many holes

Then we need to find a RB to fit this offense and have to draft one the following year. Williams will be 30 and can't pass protect well.

    • I watch a ton of NFL because the product on the field is still the best on the planet. But, that will only get you so far. US sports fans are an aging crowd so there will be a dramatic drop when the Boomers die off and the GenXers do, as well.  The Millennials will probably be the last major generation that watches sports in high numbers.
    • The Bryce stanning is relentless.    Cam’s team won two games the previous season and legit was picking 1st. Bryce’s team won 7 games the previous season and was actually in playoff contention. And legit earned the 9th overall pick.  If anything made that team worse in 2023 than in 2022 it was Bryce. Come on. And missing DJ, I’ll concede that.
    • I see the logic in what you're saying, but I'd also say there were games with a bit more talent on the roster that some of the L's are actually W's.  AZ - We don't get off to a crappy start and if this game is later in the season when Bryce is a bit more comfortable, I think we beat the Cards NO - At least one of, if not both of these games would've gone our way SF - Perfect opportunity to snag a win on the road that Purdy handed to us, but we couldn't do anything offensively TB - Final game was winnable in Tampa  All this to say, I think 8 wins is about where we were at in 2025 if you take the games we barely won and combined them against the games that we barely lost.  Add 5-6 new pieces in FA and the draft. We went head to head and almost beat the Rams in a meaningful playoff game that gave a lot of the youth that experience to take into 2026 and beyond, and I do think 10-11 wins is achievable next year.  Not guaranteed, but much the way folks thought we could get to 8 or 9 wins this year as the ceiling, I think 10-11 is the new ceiling for next year.
