To The "camwagon" Fans

As long as the fans that come along are not like the The Golden Calf of Bristol caravan, I could really care less, I work in the automotive industry and it all ways seems whoever wins the SB, I start seeing more and more of the winning teams bumper stickers after the big game, it changes every year, i swear... But Ive always been a Panther fan, they came into the league when I was about 11, me and my Dad (who is from NC), have been fans since they came out.

But fans that follow certain players out of college to the pros and become fans of their pro team, i don't really have a problem.

MJ came out of UNC, how many NC people were fans of the Bulls before Jordan? just saying.....

There was no substance to this thread. We understood what you were saying. If you're only a fan of Cam, and wouldn't support the Panthers if he was to be gone, than you shouldn't be a fan at all. Here's the part you're missing................... that's a stupid opinion.

You're right...

I wonder if some Bronco fan is going to start questioning the loyality of the new fans the Broncos will be receiving now that Peyton is the new QB. I know folks who are now Broncos fans simply because of Peyton.

I don't know why some of you just don't enjoy the ride. You now have a QB who isn't an afterthought. Considering the Panthers are in a division with teams whose QBs are quite mainstream, Giants, Saints, Greenbay, Falcons, and the list goes on, be grateful that your young QB is interesting enough that the media wants to waste time commenting on everything he does. Even if their reason for doing so is driven by ulterior motives.

    • I agree.  I don’t think I have ever been accused of being a Howell fan. No more than fan of some other random QB.   But I watched and I saw. He has some talent. Maybe I didn’t watch close enough to see his weaknesses.
    • He is a pit bull when it comes to that.  And after he missed out last year on Williams, it seems he is trying a different approach, looks like. Don’t hold back. No half measures, because someone will come and full measure your ass. Close the deal. He left a little opening for The Patriots last year.  He closed so far this year. Of what we know about.
    • They have been doing the mercenary one year RB now for a little while. Foreman..  It works pretty well. You can find ball carriers. The passing game trips a lot of those guys up. Pass blocking, route running, they have a lot to know.    Rico wasn’t a great pass blocker but he got in the way most of the time. He is a really good pass catcher.     He’s tough. Needs to find out why he was cramping late in the games. If he can fix that maybe can step up even more. Wish him luck. I think he’ll do well.    If Brooks can be something, what a bonus that would be at this point.  I really believe they went for him because of his extra layer with being a good receiver. And we need more of that with what we are working with trying to move the ball.
