Boring Draft day?

Happy Panther

So peppers is basically staying given that he would have to have a deal in place by 4pm ish to be traded. (Right?)

The panthers don't really need much on offense and I don't see them trading up for a cornerback. (Right?)

I guess i will just search for old draft videos like this one

Awesome draft day for Panther fans :)... I'm excited, I bet the majority of you guys miss your draft selection lol....

No we used this years first rounder last year on Jeff Otah. You know, the guy who pancaked your defensive line so that Williams and Stewart could punk your secondary.

Probably not since we will get a first round pick.

Then Peppers better be in route to Hurney's office to sign his tender right now plus a verbal promise from the FO that he will not be a Panther by this early evening.

I really don't see that happening in the next six hours.

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
