I went all cute with the title you goofy mother f*ckers.

Its getting nice outside

Brazilian-Thongs.jpg

1 FLETCHER COX DT Miss St.

I'm sticking with Fletch. Worthy would actually be my second choice at this position for our team. We have a NT in Edwards with Fua behind him. Cox would be a great compliment on our line and if necessary he can go to the outside.

2 JANORIS JENKINS CB North Alabama

Faller and we have a CB2. Gamble-Jenkins with Hogan & Butler at Nickle/Dime would be quite an ideal set-up. He could easily fall. If not, simply replace him with Josh Robinson or Jayron Hosley.

*Added OPTION--Stewart is traded for an additional second rounder...2-2: Brandon Taylor (S LSU)

4 Terrell Manning OLB NC State

The much needed OLB help comes and pleases all you State fans (NC state lol) Really though, this guy would be a nice fit and I think contribute sooner than many think.

5 Jaymes Brooks OG Virginia Tech

Hokies!! RG depth

6-1 Jerry Franklin ILB Arkansas

More support behind Beason with solid experience at a big school

6-2 Blake Ayles TE Miami

Bam wham...a TE project for Chud....from Miami!!!

7 Jarrett Boykin WR Virginia Tech

*Get a decent DE against the run to help Hardy in the FA

He truly is the best fit for us imho

The guy is consistent, big, with the same amount of athletic upside as anyone. He just needs to work on controlling his balance when double teamed. He constantly merited double teams last season.

Also, I just really don't like this draft for either S or DEs. Curry and Perry are good but no one stands out at all. Barron & Brandon Taylor on the safety side are the only ones I think would fit us.

If we somehow trade Stewart, I'd very much be interested in targeting Perry (late first) & Taylor (late 2nd-early 4th type).

I think Worthy and Cox are the two best non-NTs in the Draft, and both could definitely be future All-Pros. Terrell Manning is going to be a good pro, and I like the OLine depth.

The only thing that worries me is the lack of a P or PR/KR. :(

Overall, though, if this draft happened, I would be a very, very happy fan.

Love the 1st 3 picks. Would love to trade down (Eagles, Jets, Bengals) and get Cox.

Even if we don't trade down, I still want him at 9 if Claiborne doesn't fall.

The only other player I would consider is Kuechly.

That's what I think it will come down to: Claiborne, Kuechly, & Cox

    • Been here a while but rarely post and most of them are smartazz. Mostly lurk just so I can sound informed while hanging out drinking beer in my neighbors garage. Amusingly a Huddle level of knowledge kind of makes you a subject matter expert. Thanks for that.
    • That’s similar as saying MVP Cam is the same as rookie Cam because his mechanics didn’t change. We’re talking about production.
    • In 2025 Sam Darnold had over 1k more passing yards than Bryce Young on 1 less pass attempt. Repeat that to yourself several times and let it sink in. I absolutely love it when people come on here and invoke Sam Darnold like some gotcha. Darnold is the physical prototype for what anyone needs in a franchise QB. All the physical tools. Few people thought he would put it all together on the mental side of the position. He used to make some of the worst decisions you would ever see. At times in the past he made up for that with absurd throws and athleticism. But make no mistake whatsoever no matter how you feel about our starting QB. Bryce Young is a completely opposite conundrum. He lacks virtually any and all physical tools and athleticism and his elite processing is really mediocre at best on a good day and horrific on a bad day. These are realities people should have already been addressing instead of quadrupling down in year four.
