As someone who lives in Boone, This is a lie.

Everyone that was/is a football fan i knew/know was/are either a redskin fan or a panther fan, i never met a local that was a fan of another team that was a football fan.

And it wasn't like we were becoming Panthers fans because of Armanti, we were already fans, We just enjoyed watching him so much in college it was like a dream come true for us since we can go down to Charlotte and watch him now.

Exactly. I'll go to beef o Brady's sometimes on Sunday to watch the game and there are plenty of Panther fans there.

I wish I could have seen ASU and Boone during our SB run, that would have been fun. It's annoying though because it seems like more and more out of state students are coming to App and Boone because all my friends are from Tenn and GA so I have to deal with falcon and titans crap.

Plus the bandwagon Packer fans came out in full force last year ugh.

You guys are going to look retarded if we draft Kuechly. He is a damn good football player, you guys dont know what you are talking about.

But, I guess everyone would rather just watch T. Davis tear his knee ( for the 4th time...) while we miss the playoffs again.

He has no pass-rushing skills, rather Brown in the second for TD insurance.

i was there for the '05 run and people were definitely behind the team then.

thing is, a lot of fans there have the cowboys and redskins as their fallback teams. you could see the change as the '06 and '07 seasons wore on. by '09/'10 the romo and cooley jerseys were back out in full force.

also the saints bandwagon was about to explode during their super bowl run. a lot of people i knew in day to day life couldn't fathom why i wasn't pulling for the saints throughout the playoffs.

      I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......

      Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.

      Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that.
