Trade back in the works?

Could be, just not too far, I'd hope.

Prob not but we're not gonna find a starting caliber CB w/our 2nd round pick. If Coples is gone at 9, we may have to reach to fill this very big need.

Coples won't be gone by then. The Jags and the Dolphins are the only teams i'd see taking coples.

The other thing about this is that the rookie pay scale is different, maybe we might pull the trigger on this guy because it won't cost as much as it used to? Don't know, depending on who drops and who's available while we pick, we could potentially pick him up. I'd rather they trade back.

      Actually we were losing and Bryce was finishing off 0/4 when it mattered.

      Not really fair to exclude our two big FA upgrades and other additions but yeah this is a huge coup for the Rams.  At this point what they did to upgrade their defense is probably stronger than what we  did and we did a lot.     That move at QB has to be yet to be determined.  Of course you trust McVey but that was awful high.      So good for them. I mean, our hand was forced by Icky’s injury - I am not complaining about Freeling being g the pick.

      The last time our QB was on the field we were beating them. We upgraded some holes in the defense that blew the lead with the best available MLB and EDGE.
