#Panthers coach Ron Rivera and GM Marty Hurney were in Chapel Hill Mon. to meet with ex-UNC DE Quinton Coples, per league source.

I trust Hurney and his first round picks. Coples has talent, but his commitment and drive scare me (I got to see first hand how much of a non-factor he is when he isn't committed). We'll see.

The thing that aggravates me with the pre-draft stuff the most is the talk of dropping stock. The folks doing mocks, and even some of the scouts have no idea what these teams Big Boards look like.

And another thing-- they aren't in the meetings with these players, and have no idea what the front office or coaches actually think of these guys. We have no clue. I'm sure there are concerns, but IF they do take them, its not like I'll be in uproar, because it means that they aren't as concerned.

Hopefully this is covering bases, but I hope this isn't the last player we have a second meeting with. Maybe Coples is first based on proximity alone.
