people are going to poo bricks when season 6 or 7 ends with the night's watch stabbing jon to death

 

I think it will be at the end of next season. There isn't a whole lot left at the wall that we know about besides some politics and some burnt offerings, and the sending away of Sam/Gilly. I suppose they could cut back on it a bit to exclude the last part of ADWD, but I think Jon/Dany are the focus of the books and ultimately the show.

This is where I've got nothing. GRRM probably has left some breadcrumbs to motive, but I'd have to reread some chapters (Huddler Bronn's Tyrion and dragon books quest sound intriguing).

My personal expected twist: Cersei is killed by Jaime, not Tyrion (technically Jaime is her little brother) per Maggy's prediction.

jon's not even lord captain commander yet.   i think they pushed that back for that reason.  i'm pretty sure a big chunk of the story will revolve around that this season.

I took it as he was LC by default when he went to parley with Mance. I just expect Stannis to make it official.

I could see them trying to make Janos Slynt a bigger deal in play for LC, but maybe that's one of the reasons they left Sam and Gilly there during the attack to witness his cowardice.

yeah i don't think they'll get to the end of book 4 or 5 next season. hbo may be looking to start milking it.

They seem pretty adamant about sticking to the 7 seasons. I doubt they drag it out for the books sake

I finished adwd while on vacation this week, and have also now read almost all of this thread. The only thing I've tbought that hasn't been mentioned is that maybe Jon ends up riding Viserion, the white dragon. But what do I know.

      I would take the giants roster over Panthers. Lawrence, 3 OLB/DEs, Thomas, and nabers. Lawrence is better than dbrown and Thomas is better than icky. Panthers don't have one edge that would start over those 3 not matter how people feel about burns. Id believe....I think I would take nabers over the whole WR group....Id need to think about, but I feel it is right or 50/50..... Now after the top 10, Panthers may have claim. Im just not that big of a NFL fan like past time to make a good case. I'd just take giants on their top talent.    I will say this, if BY carries this team to the playoffs, he alone would flip this.

      Looks like he ran out of real estate.  He had 5 total TDs. As good as we have ever seen in Carolina? Looks like he is the only QB in our history with 3 passing and 2 rushing TDs and he tied a single game record of 5 TDs in one game with Cam and Beurlein.  Throw in his 73.4% completions and zero turnovers, literally the ONLY thing you could argue against statistically is total yardage which was only 275.  You may not agree with that statement (not 100% sure I do), but it's really not THAT wild...

      I have for too long lacked giving good posting beers, fire, etc.  Good post, its beyond prove it time and until then 30s is where they belong.
