I have a suspicion that in the minds of the coaches, we only have two wide receivers that are sure things. For the rest of the guys it's gonna be trial by fire. Competition should help fashion a fine WR corps. It will be very interesting to see the final result.

I was thinking the same thing. It also seems that our coaching staff wants to go with a taller WR, which is understandable since Cam tends to throw high passes at times. I don't know a lot about Anyiam but from what I've read, he's pretty good.

I would love to have him here, I'd even take Plaxico, Nicks would be my first choice but he's not a free agent right...

Gettis is 6'4" so I don't know if Rivera is just looking for a cheap insurance policy, future stars, a good rotation or just a specific skill set for certain packages.
