Roger Goodell Wants Wi-Fi In Every Stadium.

During the game, no. But during the eleventy billion TV timeouts to avoid hearing Harris Teeter and CPI ads, hell yes

You could do something completely crazy like have a conversation with your spouse, date, friend, or fellow fan.

Or I could really go wild and check a score for 10 seconds and have a conversation the other 4 minutes and 50 seconds between timeouts. I like having options.

You could, but why do you need WiFi to do that?

I just dont see the point, leave me alone for those 3 hours.. Short of something happening to my family I dont know what else would be important enough that it couldnt be dealt with after the game... Maybe if I played fantasy football, but still, even then it can wait...

Im with LaPantera.. Drink before the game but Is still end up having a few during... Showed up to the 'Skins game last year with a pint of GentlemanJack. Tried sharing, didnt work so I had to consume solo. I was fine until them beers inside. Spent the rest of the afternoon antagonizing the visiting fans...

It's been mentioned by others, but 3G and 4G are painfully slow when that many people are crammed into one area.

I know it's been a while since the Panthers have been in contention for the playoffs, but it's nice to be able to get an update on what is happening in other games that involve our divison rivals.

I just look at the scores on the in house scoreboards.

I just look at the scores on the in house scoreboards.

The way they are displayed on those scoreboards requires you to have to watch them rotate all of the matchups until you see the game that you want to know the score of. With a sports app, I can see all of them at once, and even find context (i.e. in a close game, where one team has the ball on the field) within seconds.

It's a rough life we live :)

Where I sit in the stadium the reception is atrocious but it doesn't bother me because I only try to check my phone 4-5 times during the game just for FF so wifi would help out but I don't think anyone will be say "damn free wifi? Now I REALLY need to go see one of those football games in person"

I think that after people bury their heads into heir fantasy teams and posting on the Huddle they will realize they aren't watching the game as much and might as well save money and stay home.

    • Wanting that type of play and being okay with paying $55 million a season for it are two entirely different things. If Bryce were to become the same player Purdy has been, then he would surpass my expectations of him and I'd be okay with him as our QB of the future (and again, I've long been one of the bigger anti Bryce people here who doesn't think he is capable of being our long term solution). But in no world would I be okay with paying him THAT kind of money, paying an average starter elite money is just a terrible decision.
    • I don't think they can overcome that mistake. Hell Lance was a hiccup compared to this. He isn't going to be able to carry that price tag and now he is going to have to do just that. Lol. The NFL is so dumb sometimes.
    • So, one could say that T-Mac is quicker than someone of his size should be and while he might not be quite as fast as Evans in the 40, he's more athletic than Evans. If only someone, anyone, could have seen that in his tape and mentioned that on here, hmmmmmmm In all seriousness, hearing he tested in the 89th percentile in that drill at his size is crazy impressive.  Just tried to look up the times of the top WRs in the league right now, most don't show at time for that, but I did see Chase ran his in 7 seconds flat. I honestly don't know how true this is, but I do remember seeing one breakdown of his tape and the person said he has quiet and efficient feet.  That he's really good at using the minimal steps possible to make his cuts and because of that, it actually makes him look slower to the human eye because you don't see all the quick chop steps that the guys like Tyreek would use in their running. I'm still in a state of disbelief that he's a Panther and it might not fully hit me until week 1 and I see him out there making plays for us, still feels like Goodell is going to just be like, "YOU GOT PUNKED!!!  hahaha, he's a Cowboy now, suck it"
