This might be the most entertaining series of this playoff. Arguably the 2 best teams in the league head to head for a trip to the NBA Finals. Well, in this one I gotta go with the vets. Experience at this stage of the game almost always trumps youth. OKC has established themselves as a legit contender and powerhouse in the west by taking out LA in 5 games like I predicted. But the Spurs can beat you in so many ways so this test is much tougher. I think the Thunder WILL challenge San Anton and actually take a game or so, but the Spurs are on a mission this postseason. I expect them to beat the Thunder in 6 highly contested games. The Westbrook vs. Parker matchup will be key.

Spurs have looked just about unstoppable so far, but the OKC has been improving with every game. I love the matchup, both of these teams bring a lot of talent off the bench. The Thunder had to rely on Perkins and Ibaka for interior defense against the Lakers, but I think they will go small a lot in this series with Durant at the 4 to help defend against San Antonio's excellent court spacing. Both teams can show a lot of different looks, it should be a great series between the two best teams left

Really feels like a 7 game series to me, I think the Spurs take it thanks to home court advantage

Thunder in 6.

This series might end up being better than the Finals, because I believe whoever makes it out of this series defeats the Heat in 5 or 6 games. Overall, the West playoffs have been way better than anything on the East.

I believe the young Thunder are ready to step up and take their spot as kings of the West

Hate I missed this game. I've been looking forward to this series all playoffs. It personifies the perfect matchup for any sport, older saavy verterans vs. the young and energetic new comers.

I wouldn't bet either way but I think the Spurs coaching staff and the fact that their nucleus has been there with the same coach for all these years and has completely bought into the system will prevail in 6.

    • Seems to me that the Bucs have less fight in them now than they had in week 16. The real test is going to be if the Panthers can sustain focus and discipline throughout. With the Bucs being at home, maybe that gives them a little boost of confidence and energy.  Wouldn’t it be something if for ONCE the Panthers came out and dominated from the opening snap and just took this shook Bucs team to task?  If the Panthers see-saw form follows, we are in line for the W. Hard to say we have momentum but we do have a pretty clear pattern of following a loss with a win.  I’m going to say 24-16 Panthers!!
    • When Parcell’s said Bryce better “walk on water”…..the implied concern wasn’t that the tiny QB could survive being hit.  It was acknowledging he would have to be extremely special to overcome the handicaps he would face at this level.  Which he isn’t and can’t.  which isn’t just being hit.  It’s being able to play in an NFL pocket and make NFL throws from it….and that ultimately is Bryce’s problem.  He doesn’t play well from a NFL pocket and can’t make all the throws as needed.  He can’t see as others can.  Which impacts the throws he does and doesn’t take.  It also impacts him bailing and killing plays and turning them into scrambles/dead plays
    • 9:30 kick off here in Scotland, which is better than the 01:20 early hours of Monday that I feared. Will definitely be watching, but probably wouldn't if it had been 0120 as I need to be up for work at 05:45. Falcons Saints is 6pm on the Sunday so will watch that too if it becomes relevant
