Bobcats 1st Round-Pick #2 SF Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Recommended Posts

Most of these idiots are hyping "MKG" because they like saying "MKG" and "Kidd-Gilchrist". They'd rather take a chance on someone DEVELOPING A JUMPSHOT instead of someone improving their handle, which is illogical thinking.

Again, the only reason they do, is because they like "MKG/Kidd-Gilchrist's" attitude. They think he's "tough" and "flashy".

He's coooooool.

...SARCASM throughout.

You're the stupidest person on thIs forum, I swear.

Can you please saying the like saying MKG shi+.

If anything, we rather be saying 'ANDRE' Drummond than MKG.

Do you knoe anything about basketball or did you just suddenly pop on here bc you heard we held the no.2 pick . Dumb@ss

Loul Deng. All defender with little shooting abilities. What now, a pretty good outside range shooter. Deng is a comparable player to MKG.

lol, good luck convincing him with that. I gave him about a bunch of names but he just refuses to accept that his poorly constructed argument is unequivocally wrong

Jason Kidd is a 34% career 3-point shooter. The last 2 seasons he averaged 34% & 35%. He had 2 or 3 seasons, out of 17, that he shot well. That's mediocre. MKG won't be blowing by guys in the NBA. Now he'll be playing guys bigger, faster, & stronger than him. They won't let him drive to the hole. They will play off him & let him brick jumpers with his atrocious form & release.

If your argument is to draft MKG because 10 years from now he will have a decent jumpshot I guess you win.

You are blatantly cherry-picking stats, Jason Kidd may have fallen off slightly as a shooter the last couple of seasons (he's 39)but the 2 seasons before that he shot 41% and 42%.

Also, 34% on threes is nowhere near mediocre, especially if you are taking a lot of them. Ray Allen hit 36% one year, is he now a mediocre shooter? Kevin Durant is a 36% career 3 point shooter, is he mediocre at it? Kobe is a 33% shooter, is he mediocre? Melo hits 32%

The greatest shooting big man of all time, Dirk Nowitzki, last 5 seasons from 3 point range:

36%

36

42

39

37

    • His durability was like the last negative I would look to in size related critique. Uh, evaluating him.   There have been plenty of small/short players at other positions that were tough as hell. RB, WR, some DBs and returners.  And how tall was Sam Mills?  His height, we know restricts his vision. His size inhibits ball security. Big time. I mean that could be attributed more to his lack of strength but it comes under size I suppose.  I get that throwers don’t want that upper body too bulked and tightened up but he should have been building his base it doesn’t appear that he has done much.
    • The post may be classless but the play wasn't.  Jets have nothing else to hype and probably didn't make the connection to the injury before posting
    • He helped keep the pats from having a perfect season. He should get in for doing every NFL fan that favor. lol
