That's basically what I did... just not quite as much warmup, which may have been the issue... I think I need to do some pec deck flies or something to stretch out a bit... but otherwise I did almost exactly what you said with slightly different weights...

4x275, 6x245, 8x225, 10x185 and I was wore out.

my heavy set is nowhere near that, so i'm not as concerned about injury with a light warmup. you definitely want to get the blood in your muscles more than i need to

yeah i'm pushing my shoulders hard and i'm no spring chicken myself

Man, ima tell you what... That reverse pyramid chest day Thursday has thrown me for a loop. I did legs Friday, cardio and abs yesterday and I was supposed to golf this morning with my dad but he's down with his back so I went to the gym and did shoulders and I'm STILL sore from Thursday. Unbelievable. Must be those reverse pyramids.

I had to basically just do traps and rear delts today to avoid my upper chest and front delts...

Hey biscuit, can you recommend some good gyms in WIlmington, I'm going to be looking to join one in the next month or so but the online reviews seem to be all over the place.

Well its probably gonna depend a lot on your definition of good.

The WAC is pretty nice but expensive. I'm not a fan of Planet Fitness, But that's just me. I have a Golds membership and usually go to the Long Leaf gym. I would describe it as just OK, nothing special. It's on my way home and so it works for me. Their Racine gym is much nicer, and so is Porters Neck, but I know Racine is usually pretty crowded.

Never been to, or heard anything either way about O2 at Mayfaire.

I hope that helps.

Yeah, that Golds is really close by to my work and I have another guy at my work that goes there in the morning. I'd probably be going after work most days and wanted something clean thats not too crowded and not too many sketchy members.

I had heard Crest Fitness was nice but that's too far out.

Thanks

Which one? I would not describe any of the Golds as "sketchy" and the Long Leaf one has definitely improved... some new equipment, etc. It's just not "great" by any stretch...

It fits me bc it has a large free weight area and it's literally halfway between my office and house.

    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so in the mind of a rational
    • Cam regularly threw for less than 200 yards and nobody questioned he was elite. He averaged 219 yds per game for his career.  You seem to be way too hung up on yards as a stat.  By that definition Jameis Winston should have been MVP by now.
    • So... what metrics for production do you believe display these issues/limitations best? Are we only using total passing yards, height, and weight thresholds? If so, then what are those thresholds?
