Brett Favre to meet with the Vikings

It's Favre, it's required...

:DI know, right? As far as I can tell though, Farvre never said he was gonna sign with the Vikings in the first place. So, basically they're saying that it's breaking news that Farvre isn't gonna do something that he never said he was gonna do. And now I've gone cross-eyed.

Apparently his agent knows nothing about this....Did he hire Carey in the offseason????

Wont beleive he is retired until week 8 this year...

x-rays sent to Vikings, but his agent Bus Cook knows nothing about it?

I'm not sure who is the bigger lier, Cook or Favre.

Both are full of crap.

collin cowherd said it best;

there are now 5 seasons in the year

winter- spring- farve- summer- and fall...

:D

this is just the time of year when fARVE comes out of retirement- just like the groundhog who tells us if winter will last longer.

ahhhhh...dont you love the smell of farve in the air ;)

its just the way it is now.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
