Why would you rescind an offer to him when another team is willing to send you an asset for him. I'm telling you... Sometimes I feel like we start getting our sh*t together and then we do sh*t like this. How does this work in our best interest when another team is willing to give us SOMETHING for him? I don't care if it's a 2nd round pick.

Bc his agents is telling him to not sign his contract with us bc they believes he could get a better offer elsewhere. Point is, he's not willing to sign with us so we can't trade him.

Augustin showed potential but he never seemed to be the type of competitor a team needs at the point guard position. Overall another disappointing draft pick. It'll be interesting to see how his career goes in the future. Raymond Felton was exceptional with the Knicks before returning to mediocrity with the Blazers.

Bonnell was saying on Twitter that they did it to free up cap space to go after other free agents like Humphries.

    • Well per the guy that used to post here, whom I know outside of here. Frank wanted Carr (I think it later came out, not sure when) and Fitterer only met him to go through the motions. Then I’m pretty sure the coaching staff wanted CJ Stroud, but it was Fitterer and his scouts that had pounded the table for Bryce. It was abundantly clear that Franks system was meant for somebody else and Bryce could only operate certain parts of it. Frank was checked out by game 4.   I think Scott was the culprit. Everything was bad and then when he got here it went to complete hell. Even Rhule did decent in 2020 before Scott got here. He won 5 games but lost like 6 by a score or less. Then dumbass comes in and really fugs poo up. I think he had Tepper’s ear and had no clue what he was doing.
    • Sellers is ass. I’m a USC grad/fan and I’m telling you he’s horrible.
    • Just saying, we could have chosen CJ. I think Frank Reich wanted CJ but Tepper wanted Bryce. Nonetheless, Houston not talking about the 5th year option with him... or am I mistaken?
