And they still won't be able to get by OKC in the west...

You seriously think a team of Nash/Kobe/MWP/Pau/D12 with a bench that has Jamison and possibly Brandon Rush as the main scorers wouldn't get by OKC....come on man, that's just laughable. With Sessions at PG and Pau not being utilized they were right there. You can say 4-1 all you want, but the fact is they had two of those games won and let them slip away late due to bad execution. So now your adding arguably the best facilitator in the game in Nash, and the best defensive force in D12, not to mention a guy off the bench who averaged almost 18ppg and 6rpg and you think they won't get by. Hell Nash alone may have been enough with how much better Pau will play running the pick and pop with him....

OKC is the new powerhouse in the west. The Lakers cant get by them. Which is probably good for them anyway because Kobe losing to LeBron and the Heat in a Finals would crush his fans spirit. Dude will be 34 next month, its probably good he stays out of the Finals from here on out.

So a team that needed just a little bit of a punch to their bench to win that series adds Steve Nash, then potentially D12, Jamison and Rush and they wouldn't win that series against the same team?? Laughable KT....

LOLOLOLOL!!!!

You know I really just try to avoid quoting your posts because you are SOOOO wrong about EVERY SINGLE THING you write!

Where do you get your logic from? How sad is your life being a racist Bobcat fan? Does it hurt to watch the Lakers have so much success all the time??

I already got superman on my football team, I can't wait to get one for my basketball team!

It says a lot that Laker fans concede Kobe needs "help". He's no LeBron, he cant do the heavy lifting and take teams to the Finals on his back. He needs the best frontcourt in the NBA to be successful. And even more so he needs the best coach in NBA history to win. What has Kobe won or done since Phil left town? What about before he came into town? LeBron just won with Erik Spoelstra as his coach. There's no quick fix Laker fans, your run is over and the sooner you guys realize it the better. I said it before last season, let me say it one more time....

KOBE BRYANT WILL NEVER PLAY IN ANOTHER NBA FINALS AGAIN

    • I encourage you to go back and watch his college play. Notice how he immediately backpedals to 10 yards behind the LOS on almost every snap. You can't do that in the NFL. Your OTs have no chance of keeping those freak show edge rushers off of you. You can't create a pocket that deep. If you drop back like that in the NFL on a regular basis you're basically on your own. Your OL can't do a whole lot for you. Bryce can chuck it when he has an airport runway in front of him to step up into. There's a reason why "ease of generating velocity" is such a talking point evaluating QBs. It's not how hard or how far you can throw the ball given a perfect situation. It's how hard and how far you can throw the ball in a typical NFL game situation and that's where a lot of my concerns with Bryce were going into the draft. There were way too many plays in his college tape that if you were watching that purely in terms of translating it to the NFL it just didn't work.
    • Yeah, like I said I get it. From a revenue perspective I'm not a good customer for them. They've probably intentionally tanked offline franchise mode to try to get people online. Again, not a terrible strategy from a pure business perspective. I can't really be mad at them for doing what's good for business but yeah, from my perspective it still sucks.
    • Ok let me be more specific. Smith was a stud before Newton got here do you not agree? Yes, LaFell improved under Cam but then had his best years after leaving the Panthers with Cam as the QB and going to NE. So he improved playing with someone else. Olsen was in Chicage the year before Cam arrived and statistically had the same numbers his first year with Cam.  Hope that's clearer for you.
