Hah. I can sorta understand players in CJ2K's position last year, guys on their rookie contract (which is usually slotted into a comparably tight window of wiggle room) who far outplay their pay holding out. To me, it's no different than a team cutting a player under contract. But Jones-Drew has already negotiated his second contract. That was his fair opportunity. I understand the RB age wall, and he sees his chance at big money slipping away, but he has his chance. Second contracts are when the money is made, if his agent didn't get him the big money on his second contract that's his fault for using that agent. So no sympathy from me for Jones-Drew.

I'm in the middle with him. He has two years left on a deal he recently got so it's a bit early and greedy to demand more, however he is the team's entire offense and is a true work horse RB.

I'd tell him to perform at a high level this season and extend him after this year.
