says cam needs to work on footwork and controlling his own emotions. says cam has matured. they asked about wishbone formation and rivera said anythings possible. talks about tolbert's versatility. using him outside as a wide reciever and at tailback along with fullback. asked about defense schematics and rivera blames crappy d on injuries in the middle. he is optimistic because of health of team. says young guys are stepping up and he wants to be much more aggressive this year and attack.

says he is letting injured players ease back into the workload while preparing them for the season. says team must be multfaceted and use different fronts. says with these guys our defense will be very versatile and can run.

Tolbert is basically going to be an H-Back in this offense.

when we signed tolbert i thought he was insurance in case we lose stewart after this season, but the more i hear about his versatility & his ability to play special teams make me think he might be the best free agent siging we've had in a long time

On the topic of the NFL Network but related to the Carolina Panthers:

My wife and I just got home and happened to turn on the TV only to find NFL Network on and notice the topic at that moment was "What team should move to L.A.?" and I only caught bits and pieces but they were talking about Carolina and Cam Newton with that screen caption. Were they actually suggesting that the Panthers should move to L.A? If so, are they that brainless? I mean, we are not the Jags, we actually have fan support.

    • LaMelo to Brooklyn for Nic Claxton, Drake Powell, and a pick.  Who says no?
    • Appreciate you, brother!  I know it was lengthy, but I felt whoever actually read it would appreciate it.
    • Damn good take, brother.  I think I take that poo personally because (sidebar: I don’t like to use narcissist often because social media has made it a buzzword and diluted the meaning, so when I use it, I don’t take it lightly) I grew up in a home with a raging narcissist, then married a narcissist and just came out of a divorce after a 20 year marriage with her, where afterwards she met and married another narcissist.🤣  And in my dealings with them, over my 41 years on this earth, at times I took great delight in breaking down their arguments point by point and forcing them to either acknowledge their wrongs and take ownership of them or watch them yammer and stammer away when they ran out of lies and excuses.  At various points, that was extremely satisfying, but ultimately, which I’ve realized especially after the last 3 years and going through the divorce and everything, it does NOTHING to them.  It doesn’t affect them one way or another.  For a logical, reasonable, grounded person, you would think calling them in their poo will bring it to their attention when they’re face when nothing but facts and truth and force them to change, but nope.  Not in the slightest.  They just disassociate from the ones who do that and find more people who will validate their behaviors and thinking.  poo pisses me off because they’re so destructive and couldn’t care less so long as their needs are met.
