Julio Jones absolutely killed it tonight. In limited action he had six receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown. :(..... I love Captain but he can't stop JJ.

Chargers Ryan Matthews broke his clavicle (collar bone) tonight, been there done that I didn't do physical therapy so it took me about seven weeks to return to action, Matthews should be back by week 2 of the season.

My girl and i went out to eat so i really couldn't keep up. I did see some of the 1st half on the restaurant TV.

Couple things, Bears are a great team on both sides of the ball. If anyone remembers i picked them to go to the Superbowl and i also picked Cutler for MVP. Jeffery?? Yeah, he's the real deal. Chicago will smoke most of the teams they play the season.

I liked the rookie Alfred Morris. Kid has pop and hits the hole hard. Tough to bring down. RGIII was under a lot of pressure tonight but he didn't try to force things. Sacked 3 times but you'll have that against the Bears. Didn't throw any picks but had a fumble. Used his speed to escape a number of would be sacks. Chicago's starters pretty much owned both sides of the line of scrimmage.

Was hoping for a better showing from the starting defense but lets face it Chicago is loaded. Cedric Griffin is terrible in coverage. Hopefully both Orakpo and Meriweather are ok.

Loved Kurt Cousins! Now you know why we drafted him. Couple other young guys i liked are Rookie cornerback Richard Crawford, 2nd year wideout Aldrick Robinson and former Tampa wideout Dezmon Briscoe who BTW caught 6 TDs last season for the Bucs. Was able to watch most of the 4th quarter and i'm happy with the effort. Nice comeback.

Moving on, Washington need to get the OL on the same page. Still working with a couple of backups but we need better play in order to run the system. Can't have guys in the QBs face all night. RGIII need to tuck the ball with both hands if he's going to take off. Too much speed in the NFL to be one handing it, he'll learn. This is the 1st game in which he's had any contact since his last outing at Baylor. Had a few nice passes but over thru Moss by a mile on one attempt, just plain ugly.

Secondary is clearly the weak spot on defense so far. Just got to go with what we have and hope they step up.

Loved the Brandon Banks punt return, thats what he does. Hated giving up the kickoff return : / Skins Special Teams are usually one of the better units in football.

All in all its what i expected. Thought the Bears defense would give my boy some trouble. He wasn't terrible but he wasn't all that good either. Oh well, Colts next week and RGIII should play most of the game along with Luck. Looking forward to it.
