The Panthers would better served either to keep Medlock and Mare or Armanti as the third QB.

Both would be a better option than keeping Clausen

Or they act like a team that wants to win a Championship and keep one kicker, cut Armanti, cut Clausen and sign someone after cuts to be the third QB or just keep 2 and keep the roster spot for someone else.

I don't hate Clausen and I really thought going into this season he could potentially compete for the #2 spot or at least show growth.

However, he looks as bad or worse than any QB I have seen in any preseason game. Most of the sacks he takes are his fault IMO. His reads are slow, he has no pocket presence, his delivery is slow and low, and he looks to have no confidence.

Hurney hit a grand slam with Newton and hopefully Kuechly. Cut bait on an awful 2010 draft and move on.

In the end, two wasted 2nd rounders essentially are a small price to pay for a franchise QB.

Fug it, why not? IMO we don't have much to lose with him anyways. By all means cut him... But if they aren't why not try to showcase him. While I put the odds at 1% for him to be successful, I think I brought up a few valid points.

Just cut him and let him get a chance to start a preseason game somewhere else with their ones. We have our first string and second string QB. I feel like DA could actually stay consistantly good if God forbid he has to finish out some games.
