Your Projected WR and RB Corps

Seems to be heavy contention at WR after #3 (Murphy/Gettis) and the last RB spot. Who do you think makes it?

Would you be in favor of keeping both Smith and Poole at RB? Because otherwise, I don't see either of them sticking on the PS without another team scooping them up.

EDIT: No need to list DWill, JStew, or Tolbert...

Tonight's performances definitely gave Hurney and RR a lot to think about...

Bryant's huge play, Armanti flashed here and there and Hurney spoke highly of him, Jared Green looked really good, Tutu continued to look horrible, Pilares shows potential as a receiver along with his already established ST abilities, and Smith and Poole both looked awesome.

Just a lot of talent to choose from and a lot of young guys I'm excited about. That being said, what I do know is, if we keep Tutu, I'm gonna be pissed.

Something for people to keep in mind is that Armond Smith is 26 years old. Tauren Poole is 22. Poole will make it over Smith based on the age factor. Armond Smith has PS eligibility still (I believe). They'll roll the dice on losing him over the younger back I think.

    • The only thing confusing about the safety group to me is redundancy.  Moehrig, Richardson, and Ransom all look to be good and potentially good box safeties.  We never really got that ball hawking FS we needed IMO.  It might still work out, but whoever is playing FS would be playing a position that doesn't fully play to their strengths IMO.
    • Do you not remember what our defense was like with Kuechly? And then without him? Cornerback is the least important position on defense, followed by safety. The most important are DT's, then DE's, then ILB, then OLB, then safety, then corner. You build inside out and front to back.
    • thanks @Captain Morgan as always with the updates I'm digging what I'm hearing about Demani Richardson.  He's the guy not talked about as much.  It seems they've got a good grip on what they have with him after a lot of playing time to close out 2024.  Seems to have trust and I'm hearing good stuff.
