New Orleans Tailgate Teaser

New Orleans opener is just around the corner......if you are coming to the game and have no place to tailgate then the Huddle has you covered. Opening the home season of tailgating is none other than the best with Ranuccis covering the goods. Surf and turf....competition quality top 10 in Memphis pulled pork with all the fixins as well as a crawfish boil to start things out. There are people truth be told that show up to the tailgates when he cooks just to eat his food. If you go to his restaurant in Belmont there are trophies lined up all along the wall attesting to his food. Truth be told he hasn't entered a competition in years where he hasn't won something.

Tailgate will start at 6am. Lot will border Tryon St, Church St. and 3rd st. Rain or shine we have plenty of tents to deal with rain or overbearing sun. His 18 ft. trailer will be there and if you have nothing better to do plan on making a day of it whether you have tix or not. NFL network is always there showing scenes from our tailgate and plenty of other cameras as well. As usual, 100% of all donations given for food go to Toys for Tots and thanks to Web Full Circle for sponsoring.

Why can't some money be raised to fly me down from Connecticut for my first BoA game? Come on guys who wouldn't want to pound a couple high lifes with good old SBVG?

Same here. I've been thinking of just hoping on a plane to Charlotte and couch crashing at huddlers houses just to catch every home game.

Glad I got my Ticket to the Panthers/Saints** game. I will sure try to drop by. Depending how far this from the stadium. Not very familiar with the street names accept tryon. Can someone tell me how far it will be from the stadium?

mapquest the intersection of tryon and 3rd. st. in Charlotte

the location is a 1/4 mile.....5-6 blocks maybe from BOA.

it's really close to the old location.

The lot is 2 blocks from the stadium.....straight up Graham.

Go to Tryon and 3rd.....walk west down 3rd for 3 blocks to Graham. Lot is on that corner.

Lot is much smaller than the one we were in prior. However, we take over the entire lot.

So your saying I get a parking spot over there for nothing?

    • I don't think he did it to spite Bryce. Seems like Bryce is a truly decent guy that virtually everyone likes. I do think Frank likely preferred Stroud and was either was led to believe or deluded himself into thinking that he would have a lot more say in the direction we went at QB in the draft. Once we decided on Bryce knowing Bryce didn't fit his system and preferences in a QB it really seemed like the wind went out of Frank's sails and he basically started mailing it in and just waited to get fired and paid out. Maybe I'm misreading the whole situation but that's certainly the way it looked to me from the outside looking in.
    • Again, it may have nothing to do with Bryce Young. The coaches are thinking about the whole roster. Many guys have said how much different this off-season has been not having to start from square 1 with a playbook, language, etc. You’re talking about bringing in a guy to lead the 2nd team offense who they now have to spend time teaching. Every team is different. This team is young and developing across the board and trying to find some positive continuity. With how Morgan and Canales have approached everything I’m fairly certain they considered all possibilities and decided it was best for the overall team to roll with Dalton for now. They value whatever it is they feel Dalton brings over the extremely low probability of whatever washed out, journey man, reclamation project developing into a franchise QB. You and I have no idea why and aren’t there in the meetings, but it’s clear that the FO sees this young failed franchise QB project as less likely to pan out than you do.
    • Frank justed wanted to throw Young to the wolves because he wanted to draft Stroud. It was a big FU to Tepper and that is why he only lasted a few games before getting canned.
