Who are the rhe other two teams??!!

Hurney was absolutely correct to tag Peppers, but for the wrong reason. Peppers was offered the best contract possible, and he turned it down. Peppers said he wanted to leave, well we cant let him go for nothing. Hurney should have been looking to deal Peppers as soon as he said publicly he wanted out of here.

A lot of people thought something was going to happen on draft day-it didnt.

Peppers said he was willing to be traded to FOUR other teams.

Who are the two other teams??!! NE,Dallas and who?

Why let him walk over making a deal with one of the four teams?

We don't want to trade him to an NFC team if at all possible , and with our schedule this year I think we would want to avoid trading Peppers to the AFC east.

Ok, that two gone, who other the other two teams?

Why not talk to Peppers and let him know we would be willing to look at offers from the four teams that he has listed?

We could at least get a solid DT at half Pepper's price and some draft picks.

Forget about the two #1 picks. Get maybe a player, and a #1 and #2 pick.

Speculation has been Washington and Philly for the other two teams. Who says Hurney hasn't been trying to deal Peppers? Dallas really had nothing to offer with us no first day picks, and a lack of cap space (since they are going to be working on a mega deal to resign DeMarcus Ware). New England didn't want to pay Peppers twice as much as Tom Brady for one season, when it's unclear on whether he would fit in their system. The fact is that Peppers (probably with input from Carey) overestimated the market for him. From what I've heard, we we were seeking a first and third round pick and got no such offer.

Speculation has been ..........

I thought it was reported that 3 of the teams were in the NFC, but I may be wrong.

Who knows... Here is your answer: Nobody... (outside of Pep and Carey, and perhaps Hurney?)

As for continuing this thread with speculation....

For the 10,000th time...Hurney can't deal Peppers until he signs his tender. Only Peppers and his "agent" can negotiate a trade until he signs on the dotted line.

Pretty much sums it up...

Ok....wanting to let Peppers walk is an ok idea, and not talking to his agent about the four teams he wants play for isnt?

There is no reason we cant talk to Pepp's agent and tell them we would be willing to take another look at the four teams he requested. Who are the other two teams?

Peppers agent read way to much hype as to Peppers potential vs his performance. He is not the disruptive force game in game out as some would make you believe. LT was a disruptive force week by week that every team had to game plan for, Peppers is not.

I think Hurney has been smart, his options to date have been limited. Peppers is tainted because of how this has been handled by his agent.

I say Hurney ends up with a deal that still gives him what the team needs, Peppers off the payroll and a shot at several impact players paid for with Peppers attempted hostage money. I say don't let the door hit him in the ass, but the Big Cats footprint on it would be fine by me.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
