I'd like to see him audible for mismatches based on what he sees from the defense more often. If the play is designed to go deep, and he reads blitz, he can't be cocky and say "That means I can just throw it over their heads!", he needs to audible to a quick pass, screen, or even a run play. He's not doing enough presnap to set this team up to succeed every play.

You can make any excuses you want but, The guy , ( cam) needs to step up (as cowherd said today on his show), and take it to a new level, if this team is ever going to go anywhere - he has to lead the Panthers to wins regardless of the cards he is dealt, or we are stuck for several more years of mediocre mediocrity.

The Elite QBs control the game at the LOS. Cam can do it. He just didn't take the time evaluating that he needed to. Centers all over the league call protections for teams that don't have QBs that have complete command over the offense. I saw glimpses of that Sunday with Cam that could make him an unbelievably dangerous player. If he can make that a bigger part of his game, we could have the greatest QB of all time.

Nope, all centers call line protections. Even Peyton's centers. The QB can adjust the play call, hot routes, etc, but it's up to the center to adjust the line protections to what the QB calls, and what they see on the defense.
