Hakeem Nicks out vs Panthers

Shutting down the run doesn't impact the NYG like it would us. The won a SB last year not being able to run effectively against teams ....there offense is about Eli making plays unlike years ago.

True, but not in a 2 WR set, which takes me back to my original argument, which is...............

The Giants will not beat us in a 3+ WR set, like they did Tampa.

Nothing wrong with staying on Peppers for too long. Hes still playing at a high level.

Did you give the name "jake the snakes" yourself? lol girl QUIT THAT =)

NO I cant take credit for that. First place i Heard it was from a drunk uncle at thanksgiving but I am pretty sure he is not crative enough to come up with it. He suffers from cowboy fandom so we dont have much hope. I mean he married into a family of redskins fans and expected talking football to work out for him.

At the end of the year, a win is a win. When they count up the wins at years end, they don't ask who was out what game. Nobody cares how you won.

Being worried Eli likes to go deep, and likes those deeper sideline throws does not mean I believe he can live by those against us. We pressured Breez well last week. Gmen have a lesser line. We should pressure Eli, and he hates being hit. We also have TWO QUALITY CBs. Norman HAS played well. No doubting the fact. Why should I believe he is just going to implode cuz this is the Giants.

Also, the new refs are lenient with CBs, that plays into Norman's strengths.

I am confindent we defend our home turf with a winning effort. And if we do. We will be one step closer to where we are going. Every win builds on the last. With a young team, you need wins to justify the hard work. Once the wins start, the work picks up even more, the intensity picks up, and the confidence grows.

A win this week tells the rest of the league our schedule just got flipped. If WE are on YOUR schedule, you had better be ready.

If you have not been paying attention. This is not last years team. This team is capable of beating anyone.

This

We also play a lot of zone which is one the reasons Norman doesn't get picked on like you expect

But the Pats have not had anything resembling a decent defense in several years.

i know but one thing i've seen with them is that they are always capable of pulling Ws out of thin air. i never count these guys out. panthers haven't reached that point, yet. i'm sure it's only a matter of time but i just haven't seen it.

    • LaMelo to Brooklyn for Nic Claxton, Drake Powell, and a pick.  Who says no?
    • Appreciate you, brother!  I know it was lengthy, but I felt whoever actually read it would appreciate it.
    • Damn good take, brother.  I think I take that poo personally because (sidebar: I don’t like to use narcissist often because social media has made it a buzzword and diluted the meaning, so when I use it, I don’t take it lightly) I grew up in a home with a raging narcissist, then married a narcissist and just came out of a divorce after a 20 year marriage with her, where afterwards she met and married another narcissist.🤣  And in my dealings with them, over my 41 years on this earth, at times I took great delight in breaking down their arguments point by point and forcing them to either acknowledge their wrongs and take ownership of them or watch them yammer and stammer away when they ran out of lies and excuses.  At various points, that was extremely satisfying, but ultimately, which I’ve realized especially after the last 3 years and going through the divorce and everything, it does NOTHING to them.  It doesn’t affect them one way or another.  For a logical, reasonable, grounded person, you would think calling them in their poo will bring it to their attention when they’re face when nothing but facts and truth and force them to change, but nope.  Not in the slightest.  They just disassociate from the ones who do that and find more people who will validate their behaviors and thinking.  poo pisses me off because they’re so destructive and couldn’t care less so long as their needs are met.
