Cam is breaking down slowly but surely

Sean Payton's Vicodin

Stewart, Williams, Smith, Newton, Olsen, CJ, and Gamble are the only quality players we have not counting OL who did overall fairly decent giving Cam 5 seconds or more to hold the ball on many pass plays.

LB corps is in doubt now.

Did you even watch the game, or did you just catch the highlights? The D line let their nuts hang today.

this isnt a "what else is he supposed to be doing" thread.

its a "the coaches are letting cam down time and time again, how much more of this poo can he take" thread

So the coaches fumbled the ball? You win and lose as a team. Cam let himself and the team down as much as they let him down. Everyone deserves blame for this loss.

So LaFell, Tolbert, Kuechly, Anderson, TD, Beason, Alexander, Both Edwards, and Hardy are all garbage?

    • Pretty sure that a QB contract payday is all the competition any QB in this league needs, I don't think a competent backup is going to make them play any harder when the current situation wouldn't warrant the contract extension yet anyways. Your opening point in this post is also the problem, "Bryce has shown signs of improving", but that's still all he's shown, and he's only showing that because of just how bad he was to start his career. If he played like last season from the beginning and never improved one bit, then I actually think more fans would be ready to move on from him, which is what's weird.  It's like going from one of the biggest draft busts of all time into the 25th best QB in the league over 3 years means he deserves a long term $40+ million a year contract extension. Improvement shouldn't be the goal when the result of said improvement is still bottom of the league levels.
    • Yeah, but we've seen him do it. Just not often. I think that's the reason for the taller WRs. Would likely be a problem finding someone like Jimmy Horn in the mess.
    • And the Rams, Seattle, Patriots, Green Bay, Jaguars and the Bills who all made the playoffs and in case you forgot, Seattle and the Patriots played in the SB. By any measure, that's pretty brutal.
