I think it's time Cam cut down on the celebrations.

Cam is a national brand and maintaining that brand means the swag always has to be at a 10. Dancing, gloating, showboating -- even when the team is losing -- is part of the process for furthering his individual brand and should just be tolerated at this point.

So let me see if I understand Mr. Werder correctly...

Cam Newton is a dick because he kept his teammates waiting while he was sulking.

AND

Cam Newton is a dick because he wouldn't stick around for more questions and, in doing so, keep his teammates waiting.

smdh... typical.

You guys are acting like Bears fans dealing with Jay Cutler... Multiple reporters report that cam was in the locker room for like 15 mins alone...... My point is dude is ultra talented..... If he is gonna run around the field doing his airplane thing before the game... If dudes going to smile and laugh while WINNING... He cant act like a kid after a loss and he is a leader of your team... Im not saying dont care about a loss but you are the leader bruh... You cant be so hot and cold

LOL. Dropping 2 F bombs on nat'l tv is this "mental makeup " you speak of? Eat a dick sandwich on spring street.

Ive heard Peyton Manning curse on SoundFX.... So did Rivers and multiple QB's.... You are trying to hard... When Ryan lose he doesnt act like a kid... He gets his guys ready... You are missing my point.... But yo if you guys are ok with how Cam do him... Thats cool

As a falcons fan its so obnoxious when he would do his gay little first down thing. Its like he is starved of attention and its just unprofessional. I hate his superman pose after a touchdown but I am fine with it when he scores. Its a touchdown do you homie but come on now a first down?

Oh the fuging irony.

Atlanta fan troll. You need to worry about Washington. Unlike the Panthers their defense will hit you in teh mouth and their coach actually knows how to run the ball and won't have his QB in shotgun running spread option the whole game.

Yeah professionalism....like Matty Ice screaming for Carolina to get the F off his field.....when his team was given a gift in a game they got beat in.

And Aaron Rodgers, Brady, etc have celebrated first downs on runs.....lame arguement

I was thinking about this for awhile and I think for the next few games Cam needs to cut down on his more elaborate/superman celebrations. I know it may sound like an overreaction but I'm looking at this from a psychological perspective. And by that i mean towards the fallout it causes. I think it's safe to say that Cam hates losing and i love that about him. I think he's genuine when he talks about how disgusted losing makes him feel. But I also think he's having a much, much harder time dealing with it than he lets on and the media is not helping at all. That's why I think he needs to calm down on the "superman" and A-stomp" celebrations for now. After the Giants loss the media has been honing in on his celebrations as a target to criticize him. Even watching the NFl.com highlights of todays game they started questioning Cams endzone celebration against the Falcons. I have a feeling that if he does one of those celebrations and doesn't win he will continue to be ridiculed by all forms of sports media and his maturity and leadership scrutinized more than it should be and right now he can't handle the constant character assassination. He can celebrate with his teammates but i think his more flamboyant celebrations should be shelved until the "W's" start piling up and the networks aren't ripping him for them.

Once again...nothing but distraction and you fans falling for it.

When Sir Cameron Newton: Leader of Men, Lover of Puppies...Esquire is doing his little theatrics on the field he can say whatever he wants to a team he drives down the field on.

And I feel they same way about Lady Brady and Rodgers. Rodgers little smoking pistol stopped smoking after Seattle got after his butt 8 times
