Scoring...

Offense: 22nd in the League.

Defense: 23rd in the League.

Want to fix this team? You have to fix these problems.

Last year for comparison.

Offense: 5th in the league.

Defense: 27th in the league.

So what we see is a Defense that has not improved much at all and a offense that has take a huge step back. Concerning to say the least when you look at other teams like Minn.

2012 offense: 15th in the league

2011 offense: 17th in the league

2012 Defense: 5th in the league

2011 Defense: 31st in the league.

What all this says is our team is not getting better but worse at stopping teams from scoring and scoring themselves.

What concerns me most in the Ron RivERA is how epic the fourth quarter fails are. We lost soooo many close games last year and are already well on our way to tanking late this year again. At least in the Fox era I felt somewhat comfortable with fourth quarter leads. Now my first thought is, how will they manage to lose this game?

Well when we have a healthy roster like the one we had last year....we actually avg more pts per game. We avg 30+ with Stewart.

    • If this was 3 years ago during BY rookie year and it was fair "best man wins QB", white would have easily won.  I was a hooker fan and it didn't cost the Panthers what 100,000 to bring him in. White just knows to non-stop study the playbook and he's a 30year old pro at this stage.  Boogie too, but he ran out of PS call ups and only the love child of Gilbert and goodwin can remain on the PS. That guy from the 49ers put on a show for a guy just off another team. Im too sick, cause I enjoy following the PS and 6 moves mid-season is a big day!!...
    • Before rip me an ass, let me voice my opinion. It is not sustainable winning with 103 yards passing, no touchdowns, and turnovers. If they didn't have Rico blowing sh%t up, they would be in deep trouble. I am thrilled that they are winning. I am not being negative, just realistic. The season is almost half way over and they still have the problem of anemic QB production. Believe me, they know something has to give sooner or later. I like Bryce as a person and seems like a good dude. But being a good dude will not win games in the long run. Sooner or later, they will have to make a change. Their is a certain level of production that you need from the QB position. This kind of production will not get them to the next level.
