I don't have a 2nd team. I was just learning football when the Panthers were announced. Other than a pre-teen fascination with the Raiders because I liked their colors I have only been a fan of this team and I will only be a fan of this team.

If they suck my football season sucks with them.

Houston Texans. It was the Chargers in the early to mid-aughts. When they had the 4-12 season and were starting Doug Flutie, I watched several games, and though they lost, they never lost by much. They were in every game, but just couldn't get over the hump and close it. They fought every week, and showed a lot of heart, and I could tell they were close to turning it around. Couple years later they were perennial playoff contenders. But now with Phillip Rivers and no LT, I've lost interest. Now I really like the Texans.

The way I see it, I have one team I pull for in each conference. But Carolina is the only team I am a fan of.
