The seats are all sold, regardless of the team's record, he makes money. No matter how bad the team plays year in- and year out, he still has money pouring into the bank.

There is no "financial stake," it's a complete no-lose situation and the ownership group led by Jerry Richardson is laughing all the way to the bank.
