We are just as bad (if not worse) as the 2-14 Panthers.

Another panther blog that is intolerable of fans voicing their opinion against the status quo and will deem anyone a troll who speaks out against the "conventional wisdom" of the main users. I like to think of it as the communist soviet union of sports blogs. A place where you dont call user names, arent disrespectful, but just simply speaking out against the GM, the owner or the coach will get you banned.

lol if you think that voicing an opinion against marty hurney is an unpopular point of view.

i've been on this board since 2006 and he's been poo on by everybody at one time or another. the reason posters here are dismissing you is because you're writing paper bricks about really obvious things and patting yourself on the back like you're thomas paine or voltaire or some poo and just turning everybody's world upside down with your shocking subversion of the status quo. you're arriving at a few correct conclusions (hurney blows, rivera isn't the guy) using faulty logic (omgz this team is worse than the 2010 team which i didn't watch!). you make an alarming number of threads for someone with so little to say.

also your heavy handed allusion to the former soviet union is very compelling. the way you were treated on an internet message board is very comparable to millions of people dying in gulags and from famine.

really let's just take one of your points: the offensive line is underperforming.

yeah, that's true. but your reasoning is nonsensical:

O line? We lost a great RT in Otah, a great guard in Wharton and replaced him with a division II rookie (a promising one yes).

otah barely played at all and is currently out of the league, likely for good. he didn't have the desire and has been dogging it for like two years. you also failed to mention that otah was replaced by byron bell who has probably been our most consistent lineman outside of kalil so far.

travelle wharton was a solid guard at one point but he declined severely by the time we cut him loose. PFF has him ranked as the 14th least efficient guard in pass blocking over the past three years:

additionally, the bengals lost him for the year early as well. losing schwartz hurt way worse than wharton as it forced hangartner who sucks at guard in to the starting lineup. schwartz barely gave up any pressures at guard and PFF had him ranked as the 5th best guard in FA this past offseason:

When I read this, my first thought was. We replaced the great Otah with an UDFA. And it was an upgrade.

Hyperpole has it's place. Using it to support a lame arguement. Not really the best of uses.

    • Why are most NFL refs senior citizens lol
    • I can't speak to the sample size on the double ACL tears, I could look into it but I am unsure about the quality of data I am able to find. Anecdotally, I don't think that is common for sure.  Well one giant red flag for Dobbins is that of the 3-5 serious injuries he has had in his NFL career, 100% of them have been the same leg. That's not good and it doesn't bode well for his longevity at all. As I have said several hundred times in this forum(in this case it will be in regards to Thomas Davis), outliers are memorable for a reason....because they are outliers. You don't base your decision making on outliers. That's.....stupid. I am also not high on Etienne but he does play special teams and Brooks does not. Currently, I couldn't blame anyone in the FO for choosing a 3rd string RB that can play special teams and has actually played more than 23 career snaps in the NFL in 2+ seasons.  I am not advocating for cutting Brooks but I don't think it's a player I would consider for anything other than a 3rd string role(and likely competing for it, at that) if I am building a roster for 2026. It's not like they are going to get to see him at 100% in 2026.
    • I'm not going to argue against black helmets, but love our silver helmets. No one has anything similar. If you took all the logos off all 32 team's helmets, you could pick out our helmet easy.
