We suck. We suck hard. We suck for many reasons. Reasons that can't be fixed by changing 1 thing. We suck across the board and I think this is an indication that this team is getting blown up this offseason.

We fired Hurney, and for good reason. Just because Johnson is upset does not mean it wasn't the right move. His decisions over the past 5 years have been questionable at best and have led us to the basement where we seem to be trapped in the dark. He was not the only problem though. Please understand that. This team is so broken, from the foundation to the leaky roofs, we need to tear it down and rebuild. That's the only way this mess of situation is going to get fixed. It would be nice if Hurney was the sole reason we suck, but he isn't.

As much as I want to believe in Rivera, I don't think I can anymore, and I think he and his staff need to leave at the end of the year. We need a new GM with no ties to the organization who can look at the whole thing with an unbiased eye and see what needs to be fixed and how to execute it. No one is safe. NO ONE.

And that's good. I'm sick of losing and I'm pretty sure everyone else is too.

You are absolutely right the housecleaning isn’t over.... New GM's bring in their pick for coaches and their own staff.

When fixing a sports organization you have to bring in someone that isn’t in love with the players and have emotional ties... When emotional ties make you sign players instead of player value, the team ends up with bad contracts.

Hurney was the perfect example of that. From what I have read he was an awesome guy he just wasn’t the best GM anymore. He has made some excellent pickups but he has made more questionable moves than anything else over the past 5 years.

      Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.

      Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy

      Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
