Halo 4

From what I've seen online about Halo 4, color me interested. While not a Bungie game, 343 has given us a good game according to the critics. I look forward to playing it.

Now the Forward unto Dawn youtube episodes, those have been fun!

I agree. Everything I've seen so far from 343 has been impressive. Dedicated multiplayer maps, vehicle maps, a magnum in capture the flag, a motherfuging mech! Yeah, me and the wife are excited. And forward unto dawn is the poo.

Rating: 9.8 - Amazing

-Astounding Aesthetic, AI, Presentation

-Unbeatable Sound Design

-Impeccably Paced Campaign

-Endless, Balanced Multiplayer

-Still Unmatched Social Multiplayer Options

Amazingly, Halo 4 is not only a success, but a bar-raising triumph for the entire first-person shooter genre. And just how new developer 343 Industries has done it will surprise, delight, and excite you.

Cortana once asked Master Chief what would happen if he missed his target, and in the single greatest line of dialogue in Halo history, Chief replied with the coolest, calmest confidence, "I won’t."

With Halo 4, he doesn't.

Basically, if you think Halo 4 will be a flop, you're a fool.

    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
