i wasn't crazy about keyshawn. didn't like carr either.

i tried being optimistic about both, though.

currently really no one (though the barnidge pick kind of bothered me for a little bit but i feel good about it now).

who did u hate when we brougt them in? I feel like a dumbass but i hated the beason pick in the draft .... i didnt know who the hell he was. anyone else wanna come clean?

Honestly, Peppers because the of question of work ethic. Not to mention I don't like the 'Heels. I really wanted Quinton Jammer at the time.

Another was Ryan Kalil. I can't remember who the player was, but I REALLY wanted someone at that spot in the draft. I had no particular beef with Kalil himself though slightly undersized.

I didn't mind the Beason pick, but was sort of shocked that we picked another LB. It immediately hit me though, Morgan was on his way out.

Ditto on Keyshawn. I had hope for Carr, but that immediately went down the tubes when I saw him in a live game. Amazing how people can look good in practice when facing no live bullets.

didn't like key because he was a self centered punk and didn't like what he could bring to the lockerroom and didn't like carr because i thought he was shell shocked and overrated (which is why he got canned in houston).

what's the problem with that?

Only at the Huddle

I agree, only you could poo on an honest answer. Key was the first person I thought of, didn't like him before he got here and he didn't do anything to change that. But I'm sure you will be posting your unbiased opinion soon.

I thought Brayton was a total scrub when we got him. I didn't necessarily hate the move though. We needed help there and we got him for cheap. It's one of those moves that if it works, great. If not, oh well you didn't really lose anything.

He has exceeded my expectations to say the least. Just shows that anyone can look bad playing for the Raiders. Even Randy Moss looked mediocre playing there.

brayton was one of those guys i could go either way on. wasn't crazy about his lack of production but then i loved the nut cracker on jerramy stevens. i talked to a couple knowledgeable raiders fans who knew a lot about him and felt better about it. they said that he was misused quite a bit there.

i was sold, though, after that smitty/lucas fight. i stayed behind after training camp that day and eavesdropped on the team meeting where he was the first one to speak after fox spoke about how important it was to let it go and not hold any grudges towards either one because he saw first hand what that type of hostility inside the team could do to it.

Last year, I just about killed myself when they picked Stewart. I felt that they should have taken Branden Albert, but when they traded up for Jeff Otah, I was really excited. about a day after I really though about the Stewart pick and looked at some film on him, I realized that our backfield could be one of the best in the league.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
