RIP Nikola Pekovic

Lillard or Davis will be the best player out this draft class. I knew Lillard was gonna come into the league and ball. Ain't no one taking that Rookie of the Year from him.

Props to the Black Falcon, tho. Wish we would've been able to win a ship with him as a Heel, but it's all gravy. So far, he's doing pretty darn well playing with the big dogs in the NBA. Had to go back and look at that dunk again

Don't get stupid. A Davis, Lillard, and Mkg are still better.

Not to mention Peckovic isn't know for being a shot blocker or good defender.

Nice play but don't get carried away.

The only thing A Davis has done is get injured. How about that? A rail thin PF keeps getting hurt. Lillard has been great, I'll give you that one. As a Cats fan I like MKG & think he's playing good, but he hasn't been any better than Barnes. And he still can't even shoot the damn ball.

Barnes had 10 & 11 tonight as an encore to 25 & 12. He is playing great. You do realize he is still only 20 years old, right? And he plays with a pair of guards who are gonna jack at least 40 shots a game.

Harrison Barnes is a 6' 8 220lb SF who is muscular, athletic, & has as sweet a jumpshot as anybody. The knock on him was he can shoot & score but he can't take it to the hole.

Barnes came full speed down the lane, cocked the ball behind his head, slammed it in the dude's face knocking him back, then gave him a stare down. That dude happens to be a 7ft 300lb Yugoslavian, & arguably the most BAMF in the entire NBA.

But I understand as a Duke fan you could never give #40 any credit. He spurned your coach to play for Roy, & less than a month into his NBA career has already topped any Duke-NBA highlight. Ever.

As a Bcats fan you would notice that even thoe Barnes is suppose to be the better scorer. Him and MKG are avg. the same amount of points per game. And while Barnes gets plays run for him. MKG gets his points off of effort plays. When his jumper gets better and he gets more plays run for him to score. He will be the better player.

Anthony may be injured but we both know he is a better player.

Like I said nice play but again Peckovic isn't know for being s good defender.

If that isn't #1 on top plays, I fuging hate to see what is. That is an absolute monster of a dunk. I know there were a TON of great grabs and runs tonight in football, but goddamn. That dunk was something to behold. And the bench reaction just made it better. Whenever you see more than just hands going up and yelling (they were basically falling over) from pros who have seen some poo, you know you just did something incredible. Skill aside, just based on sheer size, Barnes should NOT be able to do that. The kid, once he dials it in and realizes how good he is and can be, will be an absolute stud at this level.

too bad Barnes couldn't do that poo for North Carolina. My least favorite UNC player of all time. What a dissapointment

FAIL

Ford, Wallace, Stackhouse, Carter, Jamison, & many others failed to win a title at UNC. And they were all at UNC as long, if not longer, & all surrounded by better teams.

Barnes averaged 15 & 5 as a freshman, 17 & 6 during his 2nd year. Not many heels have done that.

Hansbrough averaged 18 & 7 as a freshman, & he's arguably the greatest heel ever.

Jordan averaged 13 & 4 as a freshman. His 2nd year stats were only slightly better than Harrison's.

As for the first part to your idiotic statement.....

    • Fowler: Bucs 23, Panthers 16. Baker Mayfield only won a single game when he was an unimpressive Carolina starter, but somehow he’s 5-0 when playing AGAINST the Panthers. For the Panthers to pull off this upset, they’ll need to score at least in the mid-20s. With Tampa Bay relatively healthy following a mini-bye (and Mike Evans’ return is huge), it feels like this will be too tough a task. Kaye: Bucs 24, Panthers 20. The win-loss-win-loss streak comes to an end. It’s hard to trust the play-calling following the loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers know what’s on the line, but they also knew last week, too. It’ll be close; I just have trouble trusting a positive outcome after a defeating one on the road. Zietlow: Panthers 38, Bucs 35. This prediction goes against conventional wisdom, but then again, conventional wisdom doesn’t seem to apply to these Panthers. This group, after all, has yet to lose back-to-back contests since Weeks 1 and 2. I think they win this one to make Week 18 interesting — and yes, that’s even with motivated Baker Mayfield and future Hall of Famer Mike Evans in good form. Why not?
    • Sam developed into a different player after he mostly sat for a year and learned a ton by being in that QB room under Shannahan in San Francisco.  Then he went to the Vikings who have a poo load of talent and another genius level offensive mind at HC in Kevin O Connel. I think they genuinely built up his confidence in a way he never did in New York or Charlotte.  He would not have been the same player if he stayed here IMO. Especially if he had been involved in that disaster season with Frank Reich in 2023, that might have cooked his confidence for good.  I guess you could argue we wouldn't have been that bad if we also kept cmc and dj i guess.
    • Willis was impressive last night given the circumstances. GB and SF seem to just have it figured out as far as QB goes.   It's frustrating, but I enjoy seeing our old players find success elsewhere.
