How will the team handle the primetime stage?

Defense shows up while we decide to rely on the read option as the base of our defense.

Lose 21-12.

I'm serious too. I foresee Chud sticking wit the read option for another game. Hopefully he gets fired after the game.

Wouldn't surprise me either. And the Eagles are bad enough that it will probably work, which Chud will then use as justification for his brand of football.

I am soooo ready for a new coaching staff.

Wishing your team would lose, anytime, is loser talk. You can sprinkle glitter on a turd, but in the end its still a turd!

It's all for the good of the franchise. We got to think about the future here. I rather win in the long term, than to win now when it doesn't matter and it hurts us later. There's some great offensive lineman coming out this year. I want to get at least two of them, along with other picks. We can't do that with our current situation.

If you have players that fold.....that isn't good for the long term. Means there are a lot more players to replace and that topic pick ainsy gonna solve our problems.

Whatever pick we get, we get.

Normally I might agree, but this team will go through a complete makeover next year. As I said, half the players will be gone, so it doesn't matter. We are going to have a new coach with a new mentality. The main reason is not just because of the new HC, but also because of the new GM. So I say give the new GM as many picks as possible to right this ship. The only "key" players I expect back are Cam, Kuechly, Stew, Kalil, Hardy, Johnson, and Beason.

I don't give a fug if we win out and fall out the top 10 in the draft! I will not wish for my team to lose! A real fan couldn't possibly do it. What's best is to win and get confidence...not draft picks. The funny thing about the draft is its always the usual teams pickin in the top 10. Goes to show it doesn't always help to draft high. But you continue with that loser mentality. Ill be rooting for my team!

I'm not arguing picking just one player in the top ten. I'm talking getting a boat load of talent to work with, along with whatever free agents we get. Again, most of the players on this roster will be gone. Who cares about a player who is no longer on the team and their confidence? Besides, what if Rivera win out convincingly, and now the new GM has to think about whether he should stay in place? Do you root for that to? Of course we all know that won't happen anyway.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
