King James situation similiar to JP's

Recommended Posts

Everybody should leave Pep alone he is the sack leader he had more sacks last year than brayton and johnson combined. They had 10 together I think Pep had 14 all by his self. I think he is frustrated.

I think King James may become frustrated with the Cavs and leave because he is not getting any help he has to carry the whole team. The same thing goes for Pep he has to carry the entire D-Line I am sure it's can burn somebody out pretty quickly.

Home state player

High expectations for their teams

Playoff dissappointment

Etc..

Not trying to make a LeBron thread, but I think he'll handle it a lot better than JP did.

Not so far. Piss poor attitude. Sore Loser. This kind of attitude will hurt his image, until he get to the Knicks...

I agree a huge difference in this comparison is that Lebron is truly great at his sport and carries his team while JP is merely a freakishly talented athlete who is capable of playing professional football.

edit: And wtf where is my Lebron-Kobe final... stupid Magics ruining what I wanted to see in the finals.

    • He has attempted 8 shootout goals in his NHL career and made 1. He is among our worst SO guys on the entire roster in terms of career stats.
    • Against Miami, the Panthers were behind by 17 in the 2nd quarter facing a 4th - 5. Young completed a 21 yard pass and they went on to score 7 on that drive. Then in the 4th, down by 4, they faced a 4th - 5 and again, he completed a 17 yard pass and they went onto score a TD for the win. He also accounted for 2 of the 3 TD's.  As I said, he got them in that mess and no doubt, Rico gets credit as well, but missing on either of those 4th down conversions hands the ball over and results in 1 or 2 less TD's giving them a loss. As you said though, that's just a small quibble. The real question is how does the FO see it?  I am guessing they see it as something to build on. I think most peope here see it as a total loss and fully expect the FO to see it that way as well. Time will tell.
    • Kochetkov is just too streaky. TBD if Freddie is doing that too. Freddie is the more reliable goalie over his career. The Bussi kid looks like he could be a solid #2 eventually.  Just need to figure out the #1 guy. Same as almost every year. It's not talent, it's consistency and being able to step up in the playoffs.
