100%. I get that being the only latino HC in the league comes with social pressure to set a good example, but I've always felt that Ron's respectability BS did the team a disservice from his stoicism on field to the tie incident to not having much to say about the protests in Charlotte. I think it's a big reason why Jerry Richardson liked Ron. -

I don’t love Granlund but he’s the only 2C option out there right now. Since we have a ton of cap space I’d give him a bloated two year contract and basically pay Ehlers whatever. I’d also ship KK out for whatever and bring back Kuzy to center the fourth line. If we can move Ghost out and bring in someone like Karlsson then I’d go ahead and do that. I also don’t hate Burns for one more year. It’s a huge no on Orlov though. Rod would have to get over himself and let Chatfield play his off side though. Otherwise you simply can’t bring Burns back because he’s a third pairing guy who needs a speedy guy like Chatfield that can bail him out.
