E3

Its The Milk

Microsoft had a very nice presentation.

As a metal gear fan, I have some mixed feelings on Rising. I think they are going to really stretch out the story and take away most of the stealth. Stealth has always been an option in the past, but the lightning thing scares me. I'll still keep my hopes up and wait for more info on it. I didn't hear exclusive anywhere in there so it will be interesting to see what Sony has up their sleeve.

The Star Wars MMO looked cool, but they are not my kind of games, but I do hope it does better than Galaxy.

I liked the Madden online franchise. Make your own trades and play the schedule with your team against 31 other players. About time...

The only thing I want out of E3 is some real info on Mass Effect 2, it's the one and only game I truly care about that is coming out this year.

AC2 though is on my must have list too though :-)

The new official Xbox magazine has a rather large write up on ME2 for their cover story. Not sure what new info is in there, but thought it was worth mentioning.

    • It goes deeper than that for me. When I started watching the Panthers as a kid I fell in love with Mark Fields’ story during that SB run. He wore #58. Then TD wore it and kept the tradition of the being the soul of the Panthers. The next time someone wears #58 I hope brings that same spirit
    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
