Opportunity to Talk with Danny Morrison or JR

I've been sitting on this for awhile and didn't know what to do. So, back earlier in November, I wrote the Panthers an email regarding the article in the Charlotte Business Journal about the Panthers being a darkhorse to relocate. It wasn't my best piece I've ever written, but I wrote it in less than 10 minutes IIRC and it made the point that I wanted to make.

Around 10 days later (Nov. 16th), I unexpectedly received an email back from the Executive Assistant to the President asking if I would like to share my phone number so someone can call me. Right before I received the email JR had came out with his statement saying he was dedicated to the area and to bringing a winning team to the Carolinas.

Needless to say, I found great comfort in the statement they released and questioned whether I should have them call. To me, it was awesome that they even responded back with an email requesting to call me... At the same time, I haven't emailed back yet because I still would like to talk to Mr. Morrison and/or JR, I just didn't feel it was the right time considering the reassuring statement and then that juxtaposed with our underwhelming season.

What do you think I should do?

I'd go for the opportunity to talk to them... and shoot from the hip; see what you can learn.

I did that the other year and received a phone call from Morrison. I gotta admit they're good with that stuff.

Ask if it was Jerry's idea to make Hurney do the stupid Armanti trade...more pressing than a relocation of the Panthers.

Morrison called me back as well. I just got PR responses but it was cool that they called.
