i don't have anything against it...i just don't do it, at least when i'm screwing around on a message board.

when i'm working at my freelance/ghost writing gig, i'm a lot more careful about that kind of thing and if it gets messy then my proof-readers/editors clean it up for me. in forums, on twitter (non-professional), and personal emails i rarely use caps. not sure why.

except you capitalized IR in the original post....

i try to use caps on initials, just to keep myself from getting confused more than i do already.

Everyone's got there own keyboard quirks. For instance, I can type 65 words/minute but the word 'available' is spelled wrong every fuging time. It slows me down and something about the letter spacing on a qwerty keyboard makes that word a pain in my ass. It always ends up as avlailable. Don't know why.
