Marc Ross' drafting history

1. Prince Amukamara is not a bust. He's been injured a lot but he's been there best corner this year, though Webster has been terrible for the most part.

2. Other than seeing the type of players the Giants draft early, this gives no indication as to whether the majority picks have to do with Ross or not.

I found it cute when somebody put up a thread like this before listing Ross' draft picks. The overall response was very positive. It's starting to become the standard to be successful in the 1st round. I haven't been impressed outside of Cruz, but then again I don't have anybody in particular that I feel strongly about outside of DeCosta (who isn't leaving Bmore)

We're not talking to Seattle guys but look at them. Reached for Carpenter and Irvin which turned out great. Wagner and KJ Wright. Guys like Baldwin, Chancellor, Browner and Sherman all late round guys.

How many times did Ross try and trade up for mediocre players? Hurney was generally pretty good on draft day except when he would reach - which he did very often. Also as has been pointed out it is not a similar comparison. When the Giants are drafting towards the end of the rounds and the Panthers have had top 10 to mid round picks. In any case, great research.

Fast foward to Dallas, they essentially lean into the same game plan against the Cowboys and I think everyone was surprised by how quickly it started to look complimentary.  In my opinion the productive offense really helped the defense as well.  We played quite solid against a top offense. Finally we make our way to the Jets and Bills, Chubba's return.  You can't say the low scoring affair and return to ineffective football against the Jets was all on Chubba, they were indeed a better defense and so was Buffalo.  But the production difference between the two backs in both games was both visually and statistically obvious.  The bigger picture is the offense took a major step back as well.  They are other moving parts and it's isn't all one thing, BY9>Dalton by a decent margin at this point.   But yeah, Rico's vision and athleticism is just better than Chubba and it jumps at you.
    • First day in 3 weeks my pain started to dwindle just a tiny bit.  Got switched from hydrocodone to post-shingles pain patches.  My insurance refused to pay for my patches as I’m too young for shingles per them.  I also need a prescription to get shingles shot and insurance also won’t pay for it even thought I just had shingles and in high risk to get it again.
