Is Chud a POS or Genius?

Did Chud purposely run the panthers offense in the dirt at the beginning of the season to prove that he can turn around a team to his current employer of the Cleveland Browns? You have to think outside of the box. Why else would chud turn around an offense when the season was doomed? Or did he want to give cam a slice of humble pie because he knew he was gone after the season?

also, was norv in of the hoax because he dealt usegs knowing damn well fthat kid was a bust? There are too many ifs in the short 2 year span and chud didn't want to go to the playoffs because he wanted out as soon as he built a resume. He also took a team that was below the fold in the rankings to a top contender in 6 games.

If the Browns start off poorly despite a collection of renowned coaching talent, and we start out hot despite being a roaster of no names, a lot of heads are going to explode around here.

Conversely, if Rivera follows trends and bombs another season after failing to upgrade his staff while Chud hits success by surrounding himself with talent and experience we'll continue to be flooded with "ONE MOAR YEAR" posts.

I don't recall any flood of that particular sentiment before. . .there's a difference between "wait and see" and "ONE MORE TIME!"

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
