Here's a unique problem

Fox, my 10 year old male quaker parrot, has become fascinated with my iPad.

The touch screen responds to his beak. Also to his feet and even his tongue

This started a f was lying on my bed reading an article on something while he and Quak (14 year old female quaker) were sitting on my shoulders relaxing. All of a sudden, Fox walks up to the screen and starts messing with it, and it responds. He pulls back like he's surprised, then cautiously goes back to it. Before long he's having the time of his life while I'm watching my iPad go all over the place (he clicked some popup ads).

Now when I pull my iPad out, I have to be prepared to share.

Probably stuff like this...

Yeah, that's all I'd need

"Hey, whats this page doing in your browser?"

"I've never seen that before in my life! The bird must have pulled it up!"

"You're blaming a bird for a weird webpage in your browser?"

"Well..."

For the record, Fox was already a mischievous little critter.

He likes to walk across my computer keyboard and peck at the keys while I'm typing.

He tries to pry the battery covers off my remote controls if I leave them where he can get to them.

I can't leave loose change lying around because he'll steal it and hide it in the bottom of his cage. Even caught him red handed trying to steal cash once or twice.

He's tried to steal other things too, including my glasses and my car keys.

And now the little snot wants to go on the Internet? No way :(

Problem solved.

Nah. I still love the little brat too much.

But just so you know, Fox absolutely loves the taste of chicken. Turkey too. He'll even eat scrambled eggs (kinda disturbing when you think about it).

I took a picture a while back of him holding a wing from Dominos in his claw and munching on it. Pic somehow got deleted though :(

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
