On NFL AM, they were talking about the lack of minority head coaches etc...then they brought up us hiring Ron Rivera, then they brought up JR and he wrote a note on a napkin for Davis which Steve Wyche(who's at the Owners convention) held up to the camera it read "Eric - How is Krispy Kreme in CA? I miss you very much."- JR

Eric Davis laughs hysterically, and says "Jerry you're wrong for that!"(jokingly) proceeds to say how him and JR are very close friends, and were close friends when he played for us. He taught him a lot about the football business, he would let him over his house for dinner, let him sit in the NFL ownership meetings and that he took all the players under his wing.

      That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil

      I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
