~ My only worry for the game tomorrow ~

What I worry about tonight is that Denver monster in passing. If we get behind I can see Fox letting Jake throw more.

Which normally is OK - I put my money on SS anyday, but Jake just hasnt seemed himself last...5 weeks.

We are running soooo good and Denver sucks REALLY bad vs the run so I hope we DONT stop running no matter what.

Fanboy Keys:

Jump off quick. We seem to do better when we get some points early.

Defensive Backs + Safeties need to step it up. We gotta bust Marshall + Royal in the chops.

Pressure - Dont give Cutler time to wind up.

I wish I could trust Jake for the first 58 minutes of the game. :(

well i saw the dolphins first hand beat denver this season.....and heres how we did and how you guys can do it....

run run run run run......and pressure the hell outve cutler.....the dude gets ruffled and pissy when you get in his face....and marshall gets pissy when he doesnt get the ball....we held them to like 13 yards rushing that game....and didnt sack him alot, but pressured him and rushed him into 3 ints....

peppers has a big game, the panthers win

We need to cram the ball down their throat with the run.

absolutley!

they have a few bus drivers playing linebacker for them with all their injuries....

but they will be expecting the run after the raping you guys gave the bucs.....so expect 8 in the box, and a good chance for fantasy owners to get a good day from steve smith :ihih:

When will some people (not people on this thread, just generally)learn that not all INTs are the QBs fault?

There are 5 INTS this year that are solely on him, IMO...all the Oakland ones and the EZ one in KC. Some of the others were a combo of him and the WRs and great plays by the D (all the TB ones) and a few were the receivers (King vs Chi springs to mind).

Anyway, would be interesting to see how the Cats fare record wise vs unfamiliar opponents. It was interesting , on teh one Panthers Huddle after the Falcons game, Fox said that the team was prepared, but they weren't geeked up like ATL was. I wonder WTF is up with that.

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
